Pedro J Caparrós

My name is Pedro J. Caparrós López. I am a guitarist / songwriter, session player, guitar teacher , and full album producer. I was Born in Barcelona where I grew up with a guitar in my hands. I have been fortunate to tour extensively internationally, recording albums in some of the nicest studios, with producers such as Ron Saint Germain or Greg Haver during my 26/plus  years of my professional music career.

I started my path in Spain with the band Sweet Sister (Music For Nations) and then Ktulu (DRO/ Warner). There, I toured for years Nationally between 1992 and 1999. I have always been attached to both, my electric and my Spanish guitar, and I found home in BREED77 when I moved to London in 2000. Since then, under the Umbrella of Albert Productions, We've toured Europe, Australia, Japan,Mexico, and stepped on the stages of the most prestigious international Rock and Metal festivals worldwide, on editions where Metallica, System Of a Down, Dream Theater, Aerosmith,  and countless others performed. I've had the honour to Tour along with bands like Megadeth, Machine head, Mago De Oz, or Brian May.. I have been able to work with top producers from whom I borrowed a lot of knowledge to start fully producing new artists myself.  My music and my playing style has been rooted on both, technically demanding and accessible pieces of Rock / Metal and hard styles, as well as acoustic playing. It is this combination of high energetic riffing mixed with the sound and  of the Spanish guitar that I believe creates a unique and original sound . in 2019 I formed the progressive rock  band  L'Anima as my side project, along with  Andy Mitchel ( ex-Yardbirds) on vocals. This band has been my main vehicle for creative experimentation. complex harmonies, "catchy but not cheesy "melodies, intricate compositions, and a good display of instrumental abilities.

Currently, I move between London and Barcelona mainly, but I am always willing to jump on a plane or a bus in the name of music. I am teaching guitar,  BREED77 is about to release our studio album number 7, and planing the path ahead for the album cycle, L'Anima is recording it's second album which will see the first single out before the fall of 2026, I am writing the music for a short movie soon to be presented, along with my own original solo material when I find the time!. I am always open to work with other acts, do some session, substitutions, guitar lessons, and of course, mix and master your album if you like what you hear in my site.
